Golf Courses

Golf courses on the Costa Blanca are characterised by their rich and varied vegetation. You will fall in love with the lush greens and tree lined fairways with great views over the mountains and the sea.

The typical mild climate of the Costa Blanca with long sunshine hours and comfortable temperatures extends the golf season here to 12 months a year! All clubs offer the usual services including tuition.

  • Campoamorm (6203m, Par 72)

    Campoamor was opened in 1989, and is the most panoramic of the courses in the region, based two miles from Villamartin. It has expansive fairways, excellent greens and lakes.

  • Villamartin (6132m, Par 72)

    Villamartin is the oldest of the four golf courses and opened nearly 30 years ago. There are ravines on the inward part of the course, with a par 5 on the 15th, and a par 3 on the 17th.

  • Las Ramblas (5914m, Par 72)

    The course features incredible water hazards, the Ramblas! Take plenty of balls, as you will need them. It's a battle you may lose, but you will love trying.

    The newest of the four courses, opened in 2002. Superb greens filled with Bermuda grass fairways.

For those of you who are not golfers, but fancy trying out your skills, why not try the newly erected 9 hole Pitch and Putt course that runs alongside our apartment.

Beaches

Just 100 meters away from the apartment is the small local sandy beach next to the superb Nautilus Restaurant. Please note that the beach area is currently being improved for your further future enjoyment as part of the Punta Prima complex.

A five minute stroll away is the larger Punta Prima beach with its white sandy beach and nearby restaurant. Further down the coast is the large La Zenia beach resort with full hotel and beaching amenities

There are a number of local Spanish street markets daily, (Mercadillos), selling a mixture of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as clothes, shoes, and household items.

Restaurants

Drinking a cup of café con leche (with milk) at the Nautilus whilst reading the newspapers, or a ration of grilled King Prawns (Gambas). Or, eating some delicious tapaz or a dish of paella with a jug of sangria in Cabo Riog or La Zenia. There are many restaurants and bars within a close proximity of the apartment, so why not try a few during your stay?
